Nestled in the Harvey Centre, Harlow, on the Essex/Hertfordshire border, Elara is a truly distinctive independent store offering a seamless blend of high-quality jewellery and exclusive limited-edition trainers. This innovative retail space reflects the perfect harmony of elegance and modernity, designed to captivate a diverse clientele.

To meet growing demand, Elara relocated from a bijou shop unit to a newly acquired space, offering over 250% additional trading space. The challenge was to create an open-plan environment that subtly zones jewellery and trainers while maintaining cohesion. Under the guidance of client Cass Yakisan, the design prioritised a personal and immersive shopping experience, ensuring each customer feels valued and engaged.

Jewellery is showcased in bespoke illuminated wall displays and independent cases, all meticulously crafted to complement the imposing counter unit. Finished with vanilla-coloured solid surface countertops, rich walnut cabinetry, and brushed brass trims, these features exude sophistication. Frameless, lockable glass display cases ensure security without compromising on elegance.

Elara’s interior design draws inspiration from its bold vivid blue and brass brand colours, seamlessly reflected throughout the store. The design features modern fluted 3D decorative wall panels and cladding around the counters, adding texture and visual interest. Additionally, a combination of quality carpet and Amtico timber flooring enhances the space, offering both comfort and a stylish contrast to the overall design.
