Reimagining Gaucho Hampstead
The project involved reimagining the interiors of Gaucho Hampstead, ensuring the space could cater to the needs of a vibrant, modern dining establishment while maintaining the brand’s distinctive identity. With a focus on creating a memorable atmosphere, we carefully considered every element of the design to deliver a cohesive and welcoming environment.
Sophisticated Materials and Finishes
The redesign highlights the distinctive character of Gaucho Hampstead, drawing on the richness of natural materials and refined finishes. Luxurious leather upholstery, elegant lighting, and bespoke furniture contribute to an elevated, cohesive aesthetic that aligns with the Gaucho brand while offering a unique twist that feels rooted in the local context.
Infused with Argentinian Spirit
To reflect the spirit of Gaucho and its connection to Argentinian culture, we introduced a feature clayline wallpaper design inspired by the Andes mountain sunset, infusing the space with warmth and depth. This design, combined with layered textures and earthy tones, reinforces the connection to nature and adds a sense of place to the interiors.
Enhanced Guest Comfort and Seating Options
The redesigned space successfully addresses the challenging site configuration, creating a better flow and energy throughout. Guests are treated to additional leather-upholstered banquette seating areas, which provide comfort and a sense of luxury while accommodating a variety of group sizes.
Creating Flexible Dining and Social Zones
In the previous waiting area, we introduced a flexible drinking and dining space that invites guests to relax and linger. This newly reimagined area now encourages a natural flow from the bar to the rear garden, offering a variety of intimate nooks and social group settings. Each zone is thoughtfully designed to enhance the guest journey, from arrival to farewell.
An Inviting Entrance and Redesigned Bar
The entrance experience was enhanced with a welcoming and guest-friendly meet-and-greet station, setting the tone for exceptional hospitality. The bar underwent a full redesign, including a striking new backfitting that adds sophistication and functionality. The theatre kitchen pass was also improved, ensuring a more seamless interaction between the culinary team and diners, enhancing the sense of drama and engagement with the space.
