A company born out of California and advocating the states lifestyle ideals based around surf, sport, and art, Vuori’s success in high-quality performance apparel across 'the pond', led them to open their first store outside of America in London’s famous Covent Garden along the ever busy and thriving shopping street of Long Acre.

With a shop unit more than half the size of their typical retail space, the layout of the shop is clear and the product is uncluttered.
The palette of light woods, pale cream walls and ceiling, and a floor finish that reflects colourings of driftwood timbers create the illusion of larger open spaces than what is actually reality.
The space is further enhanced by utilising higher display stations to the flanking walls, with 4no. low display island units centrally positioned from the entrance door at the front and leading through the retail space to a two-till cash and wrap counter at the back of the space, which is accented with feature lighting and a logo sign behind.
The softness of the space is provided by large rugs under the central display units and with random sets of planting positioned to displays and vacant corners throughout.
Final touches and nods to the company’s origins are provided by a variety of lifestyle images, books, and photographs taken in the stunning landscapes of California’s coastline.
Design
Less than 2 minute's walk from Covent Garden underground station and no more than a 5-minute casual stroll to Covent Garden’s iconic Apple Market, Vuori’s first steps into the international market and in particular the highly competitive London market, was a well-considered and fearless belief in their product and their brand ethos.
The shopfront provides an immediate understanding of the confidence of the brand with full-height glass aspect windows providing the customer and passers-by with a clear visibility of the quality of the Vuori range by showcasing the store in its entirety.
Simple lines, neutral colour palette, lime-washed Ash joinery and flooring reflect the company’s origins as a company out of California that truly embraces the values of the West Coasts ideals and lifestyle message.
